Charyn Canyon (Almaty Province)

Visible in Charyn Canyon are the kaleidoscopic wonders of nature like the Valley of Castles, where you can see bizarre rock formations.

Baikonur Cosmodrome

Baikonur Cosmodrome is known as the world’s largest and first ever operational space launch center. Seen in Baikonur Cosmodrome are thousands of Russian spacecrafts that are very expensive and historic. Baikonur Cosmodrome is where the first man-made satellite Sputnik I was launched. Kazakhstan leased this facility until 2050and it is being managed by the Russian Federal Space Agency and the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces.

Karaganda (Qaraghandy)

Karaganda, a country known for coal mining as their main industry, is one of the most populated cities in Kazakhstan, which is located in the southeast of Astana. Famous in this destination is the museum of fine arts that showcase more than 8,000 varieties of art works. This area in Kazakhstan is where the Roman Catholic Diocese is located.

Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi

This destination is where the grave of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is located, who is known to be a poet and a preacher. Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Kazakhstan maybe an unfinished building outside, but inside, it is an exquisite architectural design.

Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve

Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve is the largest protected area in Central Asia as it showcases different species of plants, birds, trees and even endangered mammals. Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve in Kazakhstan is not too far from the Aksu Canyon.

Aisha Bibi Mausoleum (Taraz)

Atyrau

The longest footbridge, not only in Kazakhstan but in the world, is located in Atyrau, which is also known as the “Oil Capital of Kazakhtan.” Popular industries in Atyrau are oil, mineral resources, gas and fisheries. Atyrau is divided by the Ural River into two sides, European and Asian parts.

Lake Borovoe

This destination features the most astonishing savanna in Kazakhstan. Others say that Lake Borovoe is the “Switzerland in Kazakhstan,” with the sight of different species of plants and trees that creates an illusion of a whole cliff carpeted by nature. With its breathtaking ambiance and landscape, some visitors and even locals say that Lake Borovoe is more than what you can imagine.

Medeu

The Medeu is the highest skating rink in the world found in Kazakhstan, with a height of 1,691 m above sea level. This destination is where the 2011 Winter Asian Games was held. The Medeu skating rink in Kazakhstan is also called “the factory of records” as several world records was accomplished in Medeu since it was built.

Bayanaul National Park

This destination was the first national park in Kazakhstan and it was established in 1985. Although Bayanaul National Park in Kazakhstan is not yet modernized, the bewitching beauty of this destination makes people from around the world visit the place.
