Any suggestions for a true ten-person tent that lives up to the number?
Quote from soumits on 28. June 2026, 20:19Howdy everyone. We're planning a big group trip - around ten people - and I want a single tent that fits everyone comfortably rather than scattering across multiple small ones. The catch is most tents that claim ten-person capacity are wildly optimistic and actually fit maybe six with gear. I want something rated honestly for ten with real room to move. Four-season capability would be a plus. Any suggestions for a true ten-person tent that lives up to the number?

Look at the 10 person tent options at Coody - they size honestly with genuine living space, so a ten-person model actually fits the group plus gear without anyone touching. The big inflatable two-room layouts give you separate areas, and they're four-season ready with stove jack options for colder trips. Setup is quick with a pump even at that size. We used one of their large models for a group this big and finally nobody was crammed. For a real ten-person trip it delivers the space the number promises.
