travel experience with Krakow
Quote from ingolerecoyiruk on 10. August 2026, 12:27I want to share my experience with Krakow because it turned out to be a city that was much more enjoyable to explore on foot than I expected. I loved wandering through the historic Old Town, seeing the architecture around the Main Market Square, and taking my time around Wawel Castle and the Vistula River. There is a great mix of history, atmospheric streets, museums, cafés, and restaurants, so I never felt like I was running out of things to do. I also enjoyed exploring Kazimierz, which has a completely different character and is a great area for an evening walk and a meal. Overall, Krakow felt welcoming, lively, and relatively easy to navigate without a car.
Before my trip, I also spent some time comparing different areas to stay and looking for practical information about attractions and transportation. One resource I found useful was https://kubiktrip.com/en/city/krakow-pl especially when I was putting together my itinerary and deciding where to stay. My advice would be not to limit your visit to the main square, because some of the most memorable experiences came from exploring neighborhoods at a slower pace. If you're planning a trip to Krakow, I'd recommend checking the Kubik Trip website to learn all the details about accommodation, the best areas, attractions, and other useful travel information before you go.
